| So after totally missing the 5h45 alarm to get to sheffield for paintballing, I passed out again and then took the train to Sheffield to REALLY meet up with the sheffield crew of Yekaroo. Since Li wasn't there to greet me at the train station, he sent one of his friends to pick me up. Now the problem is that I have NEVER EVER seen a pic of his friend (Li is the only one that knows how i look like) so i had no idea how she looks like. I was there, like a moron, walking around, buying a drink at the store. Who would have knew that the people that were supposed to greet me were RIGHT IN FRONT of me in line! At that time, i still didn't know, i only noticed something fishy when there were two asian girls, looking at me wierdly, and giggling.. totally staring at me. I saw that in the corner of my eyes and this thought went through my mind: "WTF! are they STALKING me or something???", but it turns out to be one of the person to greet me, with her friend. A few funny oddities i noticed when i was in sheffield: - There is a big sign at a restaurant that said: "Under 18 years of age. Last orders for food is 8pm home time is @ 9pm"... WTF!!! - People will ask for ID at the bar if you look under 21. However, if you are underaged, but look over 21, they will not ask for ID... WHAT??? Julz, make sure you don't go to the UK, they will ask your for ID like there is no tomorrow ROFL Aside from that, nothing special to report, I still haven't done real touristy things yet.. just taking pictures with people, doing fobby poses and stuff like that. I'll have to plan my trip to scotland... time to yam cha! |
